Terms of Service

These are the terms you agree to when you use the idzone QR studio. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if something here does not work for you, please tell us before you sign up.

Last updated 24 July 2026. Questions about this page go to admin@idzone.in.

Who these terms are with

The service is operated by IDZONE, No.99/100, Vinayagar Kovil Street, Sivananda Colony, Tatabad, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641002, India. "We" and "us" mean IDZONE; "you" means the person or organisation using the service. Using the studio means accepting these terms.

Your account

You can design a code without an account. Downloading, saving or sharing one, and adding a logo, needs you to sign up. Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Give us details that are true and keep them current, so we can reach you about your plan. One person or organisation, one account.

Plans, quotas and payment

Every account can make unlimited static codes. Paid plans add a larger library, codes with your logo, and dynamic codes you can re-route and track. What each plan costs and includes is shown on the pricing page and is the version that applies at the moment you buy.

  • Plans run for the period stated at checkout and do not auto-renew. When a plan lapses your account falls back to the free tier.
  • Monthly allowances reset with your billing period. Unused allowance does not carry over.
  • Payments are taken in Indian Rupees through Razorpay. Your card details never reach our servers.
  • Prices may change, but never for a period you have already paid for.

Promo codes

A promo code is only valid for what it says on it: the plans it names, the window it runs in, and the number of times it may be claimed in total and per account. We work out the discount on our side at checkout, so the price you are charged is the one we calculate, not one submitted from your browser. Promo codes have no cash value, cannot be combined unless we say so, and we may withdraw one that is being abused or was published in error — though never after it has been honoured on a completed purchase.

IDZONE member plan

If your mobile number is on our IDZONE customer list you can claim the plan we currently offer members at no charge, by entering that number at checkout. The claim is limited to one per account and one per mobile number, it covers only the tier we have designated, and it cannot be combined with a promo code — there is nothing left for one to discount. We confirm membership against our own records at the moment you claim; which plan is on offer may change at any time, and a claim already honoured is unaffected by a later change.

Refunds and cancellation

You can stop using the service at any time. Refunds are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If we take the service away from you for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of your period.

What you may not do

  • Encode or redirect to anything illegal, deceptive, or built to defraud — phishing pages, fake payment screens, malware.
  • Point a code at content that is obscene, hateful, or that harasses or endangers someone.
  • Impersonate a person, business or authority, or use a brand's logo or marks without the right to.
  • Re-route a printed code to something the people scanning it would not have expected — a menu that becomes an advert is a broken promise to a stranger.
  • Resell the service, scrape it, automate it beyond normal use, or work around plan limits.
  • Break, overload or probe the service, or try to reach data that is not yours.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of this, and we may disable an individual code without closing the account.

Your content, and our service

What you encode, upload and design stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, render it, redirect scans to it, and show it back to you. You confirm you have the right to use any logo or artwork you upload.

The studio itself — the software, the shapes, the frames, the mascots, the brand — stays ours. The QR codes you export are yours to use commercially, with no watermark and no licence fee.

Static and dynamic codes are different promises

A static code has its destination baked into the pattern. It does not touch our servers when scanned, it works whether or not your plan is current, and it works if we disappear entirely. It also cannot be changed once printed.

A dynamic code encodes a short link that we resolve. That is what lets you re-point it and count scans — and it means it depends on our service being up. Dynamic codes you have already created keep resolving after their monthly allowance is spent and after a plan lapses, but they stop if you delete them or if we close your account for a breach of these terms. If a code is going on something permanent and you do not need to change it, use a static one.

Availability

We work to keep the service and every dynamic redirect running, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may change or retire features. If we retire something you are relying on, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your codes.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost business, lost data — and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Please test a printed code before it goes to press. We cannot reimburse a print run that was never scanned to check.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like; write to admin@idzone.in. We may close an account that breaches these terms, and we will say why unless doing so would help the abuse continue. Closing an account deletes your codes and stops any dynamic links resolving.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top always says when. For material changes we will email account holders before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means accepting them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
